Pumpkins

Last night we decided to finally carve are pumpkins. I found Branson Mickey Mouse and I figured that Gracie could just have a standard pumpkin since she has no idea. Well it started off good Branson was sitting there waiting for me to cut the top of the pumpkin off so that we could clean it out. Once the top was off and he got a look of the inside he was done, he was not about to stick his hand in that crap and pull it out. So I ended up cleaning out and carving both of there pumpkins. Once they where done Branson was really excited. It was my first time carving something besides a regular pumpkin face out and it sucked!! It looks like crap when you get up close but when it is all lit up it looks great and you can even tell that it is Mickey Mouse.

Tubes

On Monday after 7 ear infections are little Gracie had to get tubes in her ears. She did way better than Branson did with his (which I was really worried about cause she is such a stinker anyway) but she proved us wrong and did awesome. An hour after the surgery began we where on our way home. She was acting like nothing had even went on at all. I am glad that it is over with and I hope that she is not like her brother and has to get them again cause I hate it!!

Practice Makes Perfect...

Or so I hope. It decided that I wanted to make Gracie's first birthday cake so I thought I should at least give it a practice shot before the big day. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to make more of them. Hopefully by the time Gracie's birthday gets here I will be able to make her a perfect cake!!
